Overview
Simpliq Subscriptions is designed to work without a Simpliq account. We do not sell personal information, show advertising or track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Information stored by the app
The app stores the subscription details you enter, including names, plans, prices, renewal dates, reminders, budgets and price history. This information is used only to provide the app’s tracking, calculation, reminder, export and backup features.
Device storage and iCloud
Your library is stored on your device. If you choose to enable iCloud sync, it is also stored in your private CloudKit database so it can sync across your Apple devices. Simpliq does not operate a separate account server or have access to browse your private iCloud library.
Photos and text recognition
If you select a receipt or screenshot, text recognition is performed on your device using Apple technology. Simpliq does not upload the image or recognized text. You decide what information to save.
Apple services
Simpliq may use Apple services for iCloud sync, App Store purchases, notifications and Face ID or passcode authentication. Apple handles those services under its own privacy terms. Simpliq does not receive payment-card details or biometric information.
Analytics and third parties
Simpliq version 1.0 contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK or cross-app tracking. The website does not use advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies. Hosting providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver and secure the website.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit or remove individual subscriptions, export a copy of your library, turn off iCloud sync or delete the subscription library from the app’s Settings. If iCloud sync is enabled, library deletion is also synchronized through your private iCloud database. Deleting the app removes its local data.
